| Can a shed be built on a concrete slab? To Q List | |
| Yes, we also have a subcontractor available to quote and complete your concrete floor. Specifications: We can only build your building without the wooden floor if there is a concrete pad with exact dimensions of the wood floor that normally would be included in the building. Concrete floor must be professionally poured, leveled and squared. (In most cases, old slabs are not suitable for construction without our wood floor.) Our siding and doors overlap on top of floor by 1-1/2" so the concrete pad must be at least 4" above ground level all the way around your slab. Concrete ramps must be also at least 2" lower than the top of the floor. When forming the pad, measure diagonally from corner to corner to make sure pad is square. Concrete has the tendency to push out against the forms; therefore, it's better to begin 1/2" under the final floor size. Example a 10'x12' pad, form to 9'11"x11'11". When a floor deduction is given, all bottom plate material is changed to pressure treated. Our contractor will secure the bottom plate to the concrete. Please NO anchor bolts. |

| How much paint will i need to paint my shed ? To Q List | |
| Use Easy Volume to calculate the square footage of siding on your shed. The coverage amount is listed on the label of the paint can. Paint is usually applied at 350-400 square feet per gallon (primer at 200-300 sq. ft. per gallon). A good paint job takes two coats of paint. Divide this figure given by easy volume by the paint coverage (350 square feet per gallon ), and the result is the number of gallons to purchase. 474 ÷ 350 = 1.4 gallons per coat. |
